Korean Food

I fell in love with Korean Barbeque when I was in Korea, during a congress of OBGYN. The place served Korean barbeque well somehow very different than ones I already had prior (Korean food in Indonesia or other country). Interesting! Since that, I am a big fan of Korean food.
So on my last birthday, I thought of having Korean food. Again, I consulted my expert colleague of food lover, whose taste was always very good. As that day was a special day, the three of us went to this special Korean restaurant on Amoy street, couple blocks away from our office. Named Dae Bak Korean BBQ Restaurant.

It’s not a big place, but a nice place to be with. A good place to hang out with friends also I’d say. The inside interior showed authentic style mixed with modernity. It’s not spacey but okay, and also we are not too packed close with other tables, giving us enough space to enjoy our food.

What about the food? Delicious! I love the seafood pancake the most! It was mixed of seafood in some kind of pancake.  Not too thick but not too thin, just fine. The taste was not salty, but yummy, you can taste the different seafood in there, and also the flour mix, making it did not have putrid taste. We also had barbeque of pork belly, and then chicken ginseng soup, also some side dish. What I like also from this restaurant, they provide side dish, good ones, for free, more to it, you can add some more if you finish them. Cool ya?
